The new port of Durrës will be one of the largest tourist ports in the Mediterranean. Featuring 14 km of pristine natural beach, the community will be home to more than 12,000 residential units with more than 80,000 m2 of parks and open spaces, as well as entertainment, service and restaurant units. The Durrës Yachts & Marina development will also include a terminal that will connect Durrës with the glittering splendor of the Adriatic Sea.

The project is led by the Emaar group, founded by H.E. Mohamed Ali Alabbar. The
group is responsible for some of the most iconic, innovative and elite projects
in the world, including Dubai Marina, Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai and Belgrade
Waterfront. The project should be launched next month. The president of the
Emaar group himself announced that it will be the most innovative port in
Europe.
